For this filing season, FLIGHTAX will again participate in the IRS PIN program. What does this mean to you? It means that you will choose a 5 digit pin and use this as your "electronic signature" for your tax return.


To file your return electronically, a blank Electronic Filing Signature Authorization form 8879 will be sent to you with each Client Organizer. (You may also download this from by clicking here.) Once your return is processed, we will contact you and review your return and provide you with the refund and tax information needed to complete the 8879. You will then fill in these numbers, choose a 5 digit PIN, sign the form and fax it to us at our toll free fax number.

Your 5 digit PIN can be any 5 digits you choose. These can be either numbers or letters. And don't worry, you are not required to remember this PIN for any further purpose!

Electronic Filing Instructions:

For you to have your refund electronically filed by FLIGHTAX, you must do the following:

• Check the yes box on the Client Organizer stating that you want to have your return electronically filed.
  
  
• Keep a copy of the 8879 Electronic Filing Signature Authorization form with you. (It would be a good idea to keep this with you when you are flying.)
  
  
• We will contact you once your return is calculated and provide you with the final numbers to complete this form.
  
  
• Sign the Form.
  
  
• Fax it to us at 800-453-5358!
